10 Jan Our Charities of the Year for 2022
We are delighted to announce the main charities we will be supporting throughout 2022:
The charities have been chosen by our staff, many of whom have personal connections, or have friends and family members who have found help and support with them. Our knowledge of the wonderful work carried out by these charities will help focus our fundraising efforts throughout the year, and we look forward to some fun activities and challenges.
Whilst Herefordshire Mind and Crohns and Colitis UK are our main charities, we will continue to support the many other community initiatives we are already committed too and join in with the national fundraising events that our staff enjoy. We envisage a lot of cake eating ahead.
More about our charities of the year
Herefordshire Mind is a local mental health charity providing recovery focussed support for people with mental health problems in the county, through personalised support programmes, residential nursing, support groups and supported housing.
Crohns and Colitis UK are a national charity providing practical information and support to those who have Crohns or Colitis and to their friends and family. Crohns and Colitis are the two main forms of Inflammatory Bowel Disease which affects around 300,000 people in the UK.
