Our Founder – Robin Francis
Robin founded R J Francis & Co in 1984 with a clear purpose. He wanted to create a firm where clients felt supported, understood, and able to trust the people handling their affairs. Anyone who worked with him will know how seriously he took that responsibility. Robin built this practice on steady guidance, sound judgement, and genuine care for the people behind the numbers.
Robin sadly passed away in August 2025 after a long period of illness however, right up until the end his interest in our clients’ challenges and progress never faded. We feel his loss deeply. Robin was a colleague and a friend, and he leaves a strong mark on the team he built. Many of us learned our way in the profession through his patience, clarity, and willingness to share what he knew.
Robin’s approach to client service continues to guide how we operate today, and his presence has shaped the way that we work and the standards we hold here.
R J Francis & Co will continue to serve clients with the same steady values that Robin set from the beginning. Our commitment to his principles will remain part of the firm for years to come.
